#1 Dolsot Bibimbap

A sizzling Korean rice bowl with seasoned ground beef, colorful vegetables, and spicy gochujang sauce, served in a hot stoneware bowl. Also available with tofu, pork, or chicken.

Dolsot Bibimbap is a beloved Korean rice dish known for its dramatic presentation and well-balanced harmony of flavors, textures, and nutrition. The word Bibimbap translates to "mixed rice," and the Dolsot refers to the hot stone bowl in which it’s served. This traditional dish has deep roots in Korean culinary culture, originally developed as a way to use up leftovers and bring together ingredients into a single nourishing bowl. Over centuries, it evolved into a cultural icon — served in both humble homes and royal courts alike.

In our version of Dolsot Bibimbap, steamed white rice is placed into a sizzling hot stone bowl coated lightly with sesame oil. The heat from the dolsot creates a deliciously crispy layer of rice at the bottom — a hallmark feature of this dish. On top of the rice, a colorful assortment of fresh vegetables such as sautéed spinach, bean sprouts, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms, julienned carrots, and pickled radish are carefully arranged. The protein of your choice — seasoned ground beef, spicy pork, grilled chicken, or marinated tofu — is added at the center, topped optionally with a sunny-side-up fried egg.

A generous dollop of gochujang, Korea’s signature fermented red pepper paste, is served on the side (or on top), adding a sweet, spicy, and umami-rich flavor. The final touch is a sprinkle of sesame seeds and a light drizzle of sesame oil.

When served, the bowl arrives still sizzling — enhancing both the aroma and the eating experience. Diners are encouraged to mix all the ingredients together thoroughly at the table, creating a perfect bite in every spoonful. The crispy rice, savory protein, fresh veggies, and bold gochujang combine into a satisfying and unforgettable dish.
